Regional meeting information and updates:
Even though we have just wrapped up another successful school year, it’s time to take a quick breath and get ready to do it again. I would like to invite you and your staff to participate in an in-service opportunity to fulfill the four hour requirement under the Ohio Administrative Code.
Robert Harmon, from the Ohio Department of Education, will present several topics I think you and your staff will find interesting.
The in-service will begin at 8:00 am and conclude at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. I ask that you submit the number of staff members that will be attending and include $1.00 for each. We are calling this a registration fee, but it will go to purchase coffee, donuts, and juice for the attendees.
Please send me a e-mail so I can share a Google Doc With you enter your district information and the number of attendees .The last page is blank and you can enter any additional topics you would like discussed.
Number of attendees and registration fees would be appreciated on or before August 5, 2014 that I may plan accordingly. Checks for registration should be made payable to the Austintown Board of Education and be sent to the Austintown Transportation Department, 275 Idaho Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44515. I am extending this invitation to all surrounding Transportation Departments. You are welcome to share this invitation with area Supervisors.
